Hike to the top of Old Rag Mountain to see some of the most breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley! At 2,500 ft, Old Rag is a challenging hike that provides exciting rock scrambles and vistas along the way! Meet at 9am at the Commons Circle and ride the bus to Old Rag. Hike from 11:30am to 5:30pm. Sandwich materials and lunch snacks will be provided by SEB, but we encourage you to bring some snacks for yourself. We will depart Old Rag at 6:30pm and arrive back at UMBC at 9pm. Tickets will be available at the Commons Desk for $2

We will be departing from the Commons Circle at 12:30 to go Whitewater Rafting on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers!! Tickets are $35 (a great deal, since Whitewater typically costs $60+ dollars per person!) and are available at the CIC starting on March 9th! Keep in mind that there are only 40, so pick your ticket up ASAP! Be prepared to get wet and have a great time with good friends!! Lunch will be provided for us at no extra cost to anyone. This is included in the ticket price of $35. However, if you would like to rent a wetsuit (see the link below) it will be $11 the day of the trip. They will outfit you with a wetsuit when you arrive.

In order to get in the spirit of March Madness, SEB is offering a 26" LG HDTV as a prize for the winner of the official SEB NCAA March Madness Bracket. Brackets will be available in the Breezeway during free hour and can be picked up from the SEB office all day long (10am-5pm). In order to be entered into the running for the Grand Prize the bracket must be submitted to the SEB office by 2pm the following day (March 15). The winner will be announced on April 4th at the SEB Championship game party which will be in the Sports Zone starting at 8:30 pm, food and
drinks included.
